And I think we may finally be nearing the end of this interminably interesting primary. One week from tomorrow, the folks in Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont will go to the polls potentially putting the nail in the coffin of once-favored Senator Hillary Clinton.

Now there are a few outcomes that could keep Mrs. Clinton alive, but I’m sticking with my original prediction. Obama will have this puppy sealed after March 4th. Even if Hillary sticks around, it will only be prolonging the inevitable.

Everyday a new poll comes out showing Barack cutting into Hill’s lead. These states were tailor made for Hillary, large blue collar and Hispanic populations (Don’t you just love political generalizations? “Hey, you’re a Latino, how ‘bout that Hillary Clinton??” “So, work in construction? I bet you think Hillary’s got the best health care plan for you.” So odd…)

But Barack is eating away at the “Clinton voting bloc.” Yeesh, “Clinton voting bloc” sounds as pleasant as a gulag… but I’m sure it’s nice. Anyway, Obama has been nibbling off and sometimes taking big ass bites out of those people who were SUPPOSED TO VOTE FOR HILLARY, DAMMIT. Well, that’s going to continue in Ohio and Texas. The vaunted Obama organization is starting to get to the hordes of people who are voting strictly on the name Clinton. And every time BO holds an event, they need the S.W.A.T. team to hold people back. The guy’s still drawing Rick Warren like crowds. Aren’t political fads supposed to fade within six months or so?

So even though Barack was caught secretly being a Somali Muslim and sending out hate mail about Hillary Clinton’s flop on NAFTA, nothing is stopping the O-train.

I’ll have a state by state prediction on Monday or Tuesday of next week, but barring some sort of collapse expect a 2-4 state win for Ba Rock ‘N Roll and the opportunity to take on Senator Keating.
